The Peak 9 began from an unexpected tragedy. Originally a burned-down residence caused by an accident, the project carried not only physical damage, but also emotional memories for the family who once lived there. When we first engaged with the owners, our conversations were never centered around materials, colors, or stylistic preferences. Instead, we began with a much more personal question:

“How do you and your family want to begin a new chapter of life?”

For us, the project was never simply about rebuilding a house. It was about rebuilding emotional connection, comfort, and the experience of living again. We approached the space as a process of rebirth — transforming a place once associated with loss into an environment filled with calmness, beauty, and new memories.The design focuses on creating a natural and emotionally flowing living experience, allowing the family to slowly let go of the past while reconnecting with the present. Inspired by the owner’s appreciation for fashion, art, and curated objects, the home was envisioned as a minimalist contemporary gallery — a living museum where personal collections, textures, light, and spatial compositions become part of everyday life.Soft natural tones, restrained materials, and carefully framed spaces create an atmosphere that feels quiet, refined, and deeply intentional. Rather than overwhelming the senses, the architecture invites stillness and emotional clarity. Every object, artwork, and spatial transition is curated to reflect the owner’s personality and lifestyle, turning the home into a personal expression of identity and healing.More than a renovation, The Peak 9 represents the possibility of starting over — a reminder that architecture can do more than shape spaces; it can help reshape emotions, memories, and the way we move forward in life.
